I told you that I run a business, which means I need to “dress for success”. However, as my business is helping clients to create their abundant lifestyle, I am mindful about spending. I will be sharing with you how I manage to dress well without spending a fortune. I am sure you will be amazed at the deals I get. Here is where you will be able to find all our tricks to saving money on a budget.
Tricks to Save Money While Shopping Online:
Ebates : We us this site before we buy anything online. It gives you cash back automatically from stores you already shop back! You get a check in the mail every few months just by shopping at your favorite stores! If you refer 2 friends you get a $50 bonus, what could be better than that! (Use code: TARYNK90 )
eBay: We do a lot of shopping on eBay! You can find great new and barely used clothing for a fraction of the retail cost! We also love eBay because it is easy to sell stuff back once we have used it as needed. It is an extremely smart way to shop.
Poshmark: For the younger crowd I highly recommend poshmark. I am currently on a get rid of it kick after losing weight and have made some serious money from this app. It is easy to use, and you can find and sell great items for a fraction of the original retail price!
Taryn’s Favorite Shops:
Being 5’1″ it is often hard to find clothes that fit me properly! I am 23 and still in college, so I will be sharing the classic pieces I LOVE, that can be put to work or play!
j.crew factory : They always have huge sales like 50% off site wide or an extra 60% off clearance. There stuff can be hit or miss, but many times it can be returned for free. I am currently in LOVE with their Frankie Chino Pant which they sell in petites as well.
ASOS: It can be difficult to find petite sizes, especially with maxi dresses becoming a huge trend! (Anyone else have to tie the bottoms?) ASOS has quickly become one of my favorite stores, and has good prices as well, not to mention quick, free returns. If you are a college student, you can also sign up and receive a 15% off coupon every time you shop! It has everything from beauty products to workwear suits. This Yumi dress is just an example of the steals you can find on ASOS!
So Taryn has told you about starting at Ebates when you online shop. I just needed to order some eyeshadow and foundation from Clinque. Both Macy’s and Clinque are on Ebates, but today Macy’s Ebates cash back was 10% versus Clinque’s 4%. My order qualified for free shopping at both sites and I received free gifts at both. I will receive $4.90 off of my $49 purchase from Macy’s. I used to shop and stock up when things were on sale, but as I have gotten older and everything can get to you in two days shipped for free, I order things as I need them. Just one of the things that I am trying to do to simplify my life. Happy Ebating my friends!
